    Definitely an underrated group.

  2. Winston Morrison Says:

Their songs mashed up many a blues party and still do.

  3. Chris Kelly Says:

I remember hearing their song ‘Shadow of Love’ play often on BRMB and Radio WM during the mid 80’s. I didn’t know until now that they were a brummie band, I just assumed they were from London.

@ Paulus, I wanted to make the first comment on these guys lol
The sad thing is that Beshara were know different to any other UK reggae band when it came to their music being much more appreciated and played in other countries rather than in their own.
The core members of the group like Ray, Tony, Mikey and Dixie were a great bunch of guys as well as musicians and echoing what Paulus said, I would have also liked to have seen them achieve more as a group.

  5. Paulus Henri Says:

I’m pleased to see Beshara on here. They were a group that had the potential to become a lot more popular than they were and their songs and live performances were great. I remember in the 80’s seeing them perform at the Odeon with the reggae legend John Holt and it was a great show.
