I remember them well. I almost joined them once but stayed in my own band – a decision I’ve often regretted.
I thought they were a really good band and Martin was a great guy.

I made this video for the Outdoors from some very old photos it does show them live at The Outrigger where Martin ran his first venue for local bands.
It also shows them playing a gig supporting the Sweet at the infamous Tin Can club in Bradford Street.
